STEP 6: New Concept
ng only shows up at the end of a word or syllable, never at the start. The back of the tongue lifts and holds against the roof of the mouth while the sound hums through the nose — hold it out long: /ng/. It is its own single nasal sound, not /n/ followed by /g/.
